Arminda, une jeune femme, visite une ferme abandonn\u00e9e qu&rsquo;elle s&rsquo;appr\u00eate \u00e0 acheter avec son fianc\u00e9, Fernando. Sur place, elle s&rsquo;assoit pour se reposer sur un banc de pierre et s&rsquo;endort. Dans son r\u00eave tr\u00e8s r\u00e9el, elle d\u00e9couvre que dans une vie ant\u00e9rieure, elle \u00e9tait Jandira, l&rsquo;\u00e9pouse de Lorenzo, propri\u00e9taire de cette m\u00eame ferme et arri\u00e8re-grand-p\u00e8re de son fianc\u00e9 actuel, Fernando. Lorenzo fut assassin\u00e9 dans sa ferme par des esclaves rebelles au si\u00e8cle dernier.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00eave submerge Arminda d&rsquo;\u00e9motions intenses et de nets souvenirs d&rsquo;une incarnation pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u2013 le perroquet qui l&rsquo;accompagnait toujours, sa servante \u00e2g\u00e9e, et surtout son amour profond pour Lorenzo et le moment de sa mort tragique. Quand elle se r\u00e9veille, elle retrouve son fianc\u00e9 et est choqu\u00e9e d\u2019y voir le visage de Lorenzo. Bien que Fernando soit sceptique sur le r\u00eave d\u2019Arminda, quelque chose s&rsquo;\u00e9veille au fond de lui lorsqu\u2019il l\u2019entend.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette histoire r\u00e9v\u00e8le une v\u00e9rit\u00e9 profonde sur la nature \u00e9ternelle de l&rsquo;amour, qui n&rsquo;est pas affect\u00e9e par la mort physique ni soumise \u00e0 l&rsquo;espace et au temps. La connexion profonde entre les \u00e2mes fait le pont \u00e0 travers les p\u00e9riodes temporelles et les incarnations successives, et leur permet de se reconnecter, encore et encore, dans diff\u00e9rentes incarnations. Malgr\u00e9 les difficult\u00e9s, l&rsquo;amour entre Arminda et Fernando, qui furent autrefois Jandira et Lorenzo, a travers\u00e9 le temps. Ceci refl\u00e8te la puissance des fils du destin qui lient les \u00e2mes destin\u00e9es l&rsquo;une \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, et montre que les liens d\u2019amour v\u00e9ritable ne disparaissent jamais.
